I’ve been a FTE at Cox since Jan 1st 2023.
In 2021 I realized working as a remote employee fits within the vision I had for my own freelance practice, and decided if the right opportunity came along I’d change things up a little. I’ve done freelance work for Cox Enterprises and Cox Communications for about a decade, and always thought they had a great culture and I enjoyed those projects. When the opportunity arose to work at The Brand Studio, an internal ad agency being built with ex-agency folks, I took it.
It’s been a great experience so far. Everyone’s great, making great work, and Cox is a great company to work at. And I’ve learned a ton from the team.
I've designed dozens of executive presentations. They range in types of content and goals, and require design excellence to make them as effective as possible. I make dense business result look clean and approachable, animate bold graphic morphs that make presentations dynamic, and use smart graphics to make content more digestible. I work in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or any other presentation software appropriate for the presentation.
I've designed the signage throughout the Cox campus, including digital beacons (pictured), digital screens throughout, and large format printed wall signs.
I've designed dozens of flyers for sales efforts, information communication, product overviews and more.
I've designed and done production design for out of home advertising spanning billboards, digital boards, bus shelters. I make them effective by being visually bold they communicate quickly to quickly passing eyes.
B2B marketing and advertising has a special place in my heart, and I've enjoyed having the chance to work on Cox Business. I designed sales presentations and a variety of marketing formats that inspire confidence, are visually compelling, and are clear and direct.
I've designed images for social efforts.
I've created advertising for Hispanic Markets, navigating unique design challenges such as accent marks. You have to make them really small, but still clearly visible.
